GULF SHORES, Ala. - To conclude the 2021-22 track and field season, three Sand Sharks - Shamar Deacon, Maisonne Jones and Kadari Mitchell - competed in four events at the 2022 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals from May 25-27 at the Mikey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores. Two Sand Sharks posted top-10 finishes at the postseason meet. Headlining those finishes was Jones, who finished third in the long jump. Deacon finished 10th in the 400m to round out the top-10 finishes for USCB.
